I miss playing Fifa 98. Although the graphic sucks in today’s standards but the game plan is still awesome. How many football games that allow you to control Malaysia and its respective state teams? Don’t you think it’s going to be fun to beat Real Madrid with Kelantan, Selangor or Malaysia? It’s damn fun, isn’t it? Too bad they don’t make too many FIFA games like this any more.

Hmmm I always thought can PC survive in the gaming platform? But it’s true. I often became frustrated when games I bought could not run on my computer. This is the moment where I really hate to keep checking my system requirements whether my computer can support the games or not. Unlike consoles, I just have to buy the games without worries unless there is a region restriction product. Older consoles lacked in network capabilities but this is not the case with future consoles.

Ahhhh I can’t wait for Red Alert 3, not to mention Gemma Atkinson as Lt Eva McKenna. It brought back the sweet memories I used to had playing Red Alert 2 at my college. Yes, you read that right. I played Red Alert 2 at college in the computer lab when there are hands on classes. You can see how lenient my lecturer was. Time flies and now Red Alert 3 will be released next month. Luckily I had already purchased a new desktop recently so my computer can definitely support the game. I didn’t buy the computer specifically to play games though but it will great because I can team up with my brother on LAN games.

Seriously? Parents are more worried of their kids playing mature rated games than experimenting with beer drinking and porn viewing?  Hmm perhaps they are worried their children might become the next shooter in school or something. Guns are available on certain degree in United States but Malaysians might indulge in knife fighting instead? I remember my uncle used to be very vocal against their kids playing Street Fight in the past. At least there are some control to sell mature rated games to kids in United States because it is too lenient in Malaysian when it comes to this due to piracy. With less than 10 Ringgit, kids can easily purchase such games from the pirates. No one gives a damn about game rating in the pirate world. So I think it is more worrying in that way.

Fans of Grand Theft Auto series who don’t own PS3 or Xbox 360 are going to be excited because the fourth installment of this highly controversial game will be released on the PC platform. It means I can also enjoy Grand Theft Auto IV since I have yet to purchase a PS3 for my own pleasure. Games are still expensive so I guess I have to settle for the PC version for now. I am not sure how will this game is going to perform in the PC platform because I don’t think I’m going to see the realism of the 3D graphics on my computer since my graphic card is really pathetic compare to its counterparts.
