One of the nightmares I dread is accidentally dropping my laptop on the floor and we know it is not the sturdiness item in this earth. So I had been very careful whenever I place the laptop on the table. I also make sure there is no liquid being placed near to it. Sometimes I wonder why mobile devices are not made to withstand external forces even though such trait often compliments the mobility. Another thing I dread is the moment the hard disk dies on me. It’s not like you can install more than 1 hard disk in the laptop. If my hard disk decided to die on me one day, there goes my data. Fortunately I have another external hard disk I can rely on.

I remember there is time when my friends show off with their big ass gadgets. Those were the days when big ass gadgets are a symbol of coolness. Remember the early form of cell phone? Do you actually rememeber how bulky it was? It was big enough to become a brick, but it is expensive enough to knock people around with it though. Same goes to computers. My old computer used to be extremely large and heavy. So heavy you can actually use it as a weightlifting device. It was THAT heavy. But such devices are becoming smaller now. Even my cheapest cellphone stands at the size of my palm. While I am not too excited with the idea of tiny notebooks but some people are going to find it useful for their daily endeavors.
