rechargeable aa batteries

I used to remember I bought so many AA batteries for my gameboy and guess what? It ran out of power in the span for 3 days. Just imagine the amount of money I spent on batteries alone. I was dumb because I didn’t know there is this thing called rechargeable aa batteries. If I know something like that existed in those days, I would have saved more money from the start.
