A T-shirt that says No To ISA is dangerous, according to the crime fighters lah.
His curiosity piqued, KS Oliver and two friends attended a national-level open house in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday.
However, Oliver’s festive mood came to a rude halt when he ended up being detained by the police for three hours over his ‘dangerous’ T-shirt.
According to the 27-year-old Malaysiakini subscription executive, the police considered him a possible threat to the VVIPs present, which included Deputy Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak.
Whoa, I didn’t know a T-shirt with less flattering message could be such a threat to the present VVIPs. I didn’t know this T-shirt can be given a bomb squad treatment either. Yeah, that t-shirt fella is being treated like a suicide bomber or an assassin because he is a threat to the VVIPs.
You can’t even express yourself. If you do, be prepared to spend a night in jail lah. It’s not like the T shirt is saying Fuck you Pak Lah or Suck my C*** you Najis or Go To Hell BN. Just a simple message like No To ISA also kena tahan.
I didn’t know saying No To ISA can be extremely T-Shirt. But I tell you lah, nothing is going to happen to people who performed mock sexual acts against an opposition in an election campaign. Most of them will be released later on. Aiya, I am going to see if French Connection is going to entertain my request in making a custom T-shirt that says “FCUK ISA”.
